About The Comedian:

Lou Perez is a writer/comedian based in NYC. He was a comedy producer on TruTV’s Impractical Jokers and performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, most recently with Soundtrack NYC. He produces videos with his group, Greg and Lou. Greg and Lou won the 2011 NYTVF Pitch Contest, which included a development deal with MSN and Eyeboogie. Their independent sitcom pilot Blog of a Pool Boy won the 2009 NYTVF’s awards for Best Comedy and Best Actor. In 2006 Lou co-starred in the film Checkout, directed by Dan Eckman, which won Best College Short at the 2006 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He is a former member of Hammerkatz, the 2005 ECNY Winners for Best Sketch Group. Lou is also the lead writer and executive producer for We The Internet TV, a libertarian-leaning comedy production. Lou’s performed stand-up at Carolines, Comix, Broadway Comedy Club, and New York Comedy, has opened for Ron Paul on multiple occasions, among other venues.
